Nestled amidst the serene Aravalli hills of Mount Abu, Rajasthan, the Brahma Kumaris Mount Abu stands as a testament to spiritual awakening, personal transformation, and global harmony. In 1950 (two years after Partition), the group moved to its present location in Mount Abu, India. Until then, these nearly 400 individuals lived as a self-sufficient community, devoting their time to intense spiritual study, meditation, and self-transformation.  This community, characterized by its emphasis on purity, meditation, and spiritual study, lay the foundation for what would evolve into the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. A Women-Led Spiritual Movement One of the most distinguishing features of the Brahma Kumaris is its leadership structure. From its inception, Brahma Baba entrusted women with pivotal roles in guiding the organization.
